Online tarot: frequently asked questions

An online tarot reading uses a spread of cards and interpretations of their symbols. Tarotora automatically draws cards and explains each card, its position and the connections between cards. You can then relate the ideas to your situation. It is not a consultation with a human reader.

Yes. The daily card, three-card spread and explanations in the current version are free and do not require an account.

The daily card is determined by your device’s local date. It stays the same throughout the day so you can return to one theme. It is not a personalized prediction.

The positions are past, present and possible direction. The first invites reflection on previous experiences, the second on the current situation and the third on a step or perspective to explore.

Yes. For a three-card spread you can select General, Love or Career. Changing the topic adapts the explanation while preserving your cards. A reading cannot confirm another person’s feelings or intentions.

No. We use tarot as a symbolic reflection tool. An interpretation can suggest useful questions but does not prove an event will happen. Your decisions remain yours and should be grounded in real information.

In the current version, explanations combine editorial texts according to cards, positions and topic. There is no connected AI chat generating a live consultation.

The drawing experience uses all 78 cards, upright or reversed, with classic Rider–Waite–Smith illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith. A complete tarot deck contains 78 cards: 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana.

In some traditions, a reversed card may suggest an inward theme, delay, excess or blockage. It does not automatically mean something bad. Reversed cards are available in the daily card and three-card spread, with distinct interpretations.

Choose an open question about your own actions: “What could I clarify in this relationship?” or “What career step could I test?”. Avoid treating the spread as a verdict or drawing repeatedly until you get the answer you want.

No. The ritual section offers symbolic activities and personal intentions, with materials and steps explained. It does not promise money, healing, career success or someone’s return. For health concerns, seek medical care.
